My Family

Me: My Name is Julie Anna Congdon, I am 30years old and I have two children. My daughter Avery is 10 (almost 11) and my son Jonah is 6. I am also blessed with a wonderful partner Noel, who takes very good care of me. I live in Stuart, FL, but will be residing in Tampa throughout my stem cell transplant. My life now is completely focused on my health and my family, but before this whole Leukemia thing I was a Midwife, but very part time for the last several years. Originally I am a New Yorker, but after living in Florida for five years I could never return to the North. I love the sun, beach and palm trees, throw in some water and a margarita (no more of those now) and I'm really in heaven!
My Honey: Noel Golding, is a 33-year-old man that spends his days working from home, loving our children and looking after me. The company he works for is in CT so he has a home office and is able to help me on days that I'm not feeling so well. Noel is a computer nerd (that's what I call him) so you rarely see him out from behind his laptop. Did I mention how handsome he is? Yes, I got a good one! I couldn't make it through this without my Noel.
My Daughter: Averyanna Congdon was born on June 28, 1994 in Danbury, CT. She is now 10 years old, but looks like a teenager (lucky me). Avery loves art and music and spends quite a bit of her time drawing. She would like to be an artist/designer and wants to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. My girl is very mature for her age and was born a little mother. She helps get her little brother up and dressed in the morning, makes sure he brushes his teeth and tends to his needs with TLC (most of the time). She is an amazing young woman who has been teaching me a great deal about myself from the day she came to me and continues to impress me each day.
My Son: Jonah Noel Golding is 6 years old and was born at home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on February 3, 1999. He is the baby of the family and boy does he know it. Jonah loves to ride his bike, do puzzles and play video games on his gameboy. He is my snuggle bug and will probably sleep in my bed until he is eighteen! He does go to sleep in his own room, but somehow ends up with us in the early morning hours. Like a typical boy, he is all over his Mama all of the time and I love every minute of it.
